EPS Social Entreprenuers Roles

At first glance, the chart below may seem unfamiliar.  Ultimately however, this process is not fundamentally different than setting up a Local Little League or a Boy Scout Troop.  In the case of EPS, we are assembling teams of environmental social entrepreneurs to fill the respective roles.  

The following matrix outlines the initial set of roles within our environmental crowdsourcing platform, but this will certainly evolve over time. If you have a core competency that you bring to the table, we will find a place for you.  In the same way that we that you would organize a recreational softball team, each role must be filled by at least one person on each team.   Each Regional Team will function as a simi-autonomous organization, with it's own budget, it's own membership, its own programs and it own revenues, just like a YMCA or a local Little League.  Each Regional Team and each Social Entrepreneur within the team, will be responsible for working out their own budget for their own programs.  The concept it to provide you and your team the platform, the community and the opportunity to put your ideas to work in whatever area you feel you have core competencies.

EPS is here to not only provide the platform and infrastructure, we will assist you in coordinating and assembling resources to bring the collective vision of our teams to life.  The idea is for each Social Entrepreneur to organize locally.  EPS will develop a global community to support your efforts.  Here is the great news, you don't need anyone else permission.  This is your opportunity to lead and to build a career doing what you most passionately love doing.  Our mission at EPS is to build an organization around people's passions and core competencies, not around job descriptions and repressive bosses. 

Since all of you are the first to go through the process, you will be part of the processes of defining the Rules and Accountabilities for each role within each type of team.  We are going to set up a crowdsourcing processes for establishing the rules of engagement and we are going to work all of these issues out as a community.  We can do polls, we can do surveys, every one of you.
